A New Footbridge for Leeds

Our new footbridge has arrived and installed over the River Aire in the centre of Leeds. This is the longest single span pedestrian bridge in the city and is looking beautiful. The new bridge was designed by Gagarin & DP Squared Engineers for CITU connecting new housing and community facilities and to give people improved access with connection to the riverside tow paths. It also carries a new district heating system from both sides of the river, providing green energy within the  Climate Innovation District. The bridge was opened in 2019 by Hilary Benn MP and community.
