Saltburn-by-the-Sea — in all its hyphenated glory. This charming Yorkshire coastal town is every bit as lovely as its name suggests, and it made the perfect setting for one of our latest projects.
We were thrilled to work with our clients again, having previously transformed their beautiful home in Leeds a few years ago.
This time, the brief was all about creating a relaxed coastal retreat — a place for family gatherings, seaside walks, and slow mornings with a view.
The building had been empty for some time, yet perched in an incredible spot, overlooking Saltburn’s beach and cliffs. Together, we brought it back to life — completely remodelling, refurbishing, and extending the property. We opened up the spaces, maximised those spectacular views, and layered in texture and personality — with a touch of whimsy for good measure.
Safe to say, we’ve fallen a little bit in love with this Victorian seaside gem of a place too and we’ll miss the regular seaside visits.
