Industry Rising is a rolling exhibition supported by Creative Calderdale featuring all that is innovative, inspiring and down right exciting about the up and coming businesses, individuals and organisations currently popping up across the area. \u2018From Micro to Macro\u2019 is a curated exhibition telling our story through a selection of drawings, models and objects, demonstrating the range of scale and type of project we undertake. The launch night was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate with our collaborators, friends and other enthusiasts from creative industries in the North. As hapless fans of music, GAGARIN is our ‘band’ and every band needs merchandise. The Tour de France passed through our valley in the summer of 2014 and we couldn’t resist designing some Kraftwerk-inspired, Yorkshire-inflected ‘maillot jaune’. A limited run of 50 were produced with the help of our lovely friends at Batley School of Art; hand-printed and finished on fair-trade cotton tees. \n Yeats Pavilion “..of Clay and Wattles made”<\/a>\n <\/div>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t

A pavilion is proposed to celebrate Yeats in 2015 on the Isle of Innisfree, County Sligo to provide a space for readings, a place to inspire and a shelter, from which to listen to the lapping water at the edge of Innisfree. The pavilion design was in response to Yeats poem- \u2018Isle of Innisfree’ and to the context of Lough Gill. We proposed a \u00a0\u2018soft architecture\u2019 using only 3 materials of clay, rope and cork buoy to form a structure of clay pots and wattle net as if hauled onto the shoreline.
