Weavers Terrace
New Housing for Calderdale

Weavers Terrace provide high-quality modern homes set within a stunning village and heritage setting. The terrace forms the first phase of the redevelopment site; Gagarin having worked closely with Clay Developments to complete the project.
The homes are robustly detailed and super-insulated for the exposed, hillside setting whilst making the most of the context by connecting and framing the stunning views and landscape beyond. Each home is designed with a generous arrangement of domestic spaces that are both flexible and light-filled.
The Terrace replaces a former weavers shed which was originally on the site, establishing a new courtyard between the listed mill buildings, which we hope will become a focus for communal life and activity as the first wave of residents move in.
Work is now underway for Phase Two – the Carding Mill project which will provide ten new homes.
