Young Architects Competition – winners announced!
Some terrific news to kick off the New Year – In October we had a great afternoon with 15 uber-talented young designers, aged between 8-14 as we held a workshop at Gagarin HQ for the V&A/ Serpentine Gallery sponsored Young Architects Competition.
Nearly 800 entries were received from across the UK and 10 other countries across the globe, with a very high standard of entries across the board. The competition was judged by a panel of experts, comprised of the Serpentine’s Artistic Director, Hans Ulrich Obrist; the designer of the 2016 Serpentine Pavilion, Bjarke Ingels; and Christine Murray, Editor of The Architectural Review.
The winner has just been announced…………(Drum roll)
Well done to Elijah Peers-Webb, who produced an array of gorgeous models at the workshop and won his age category. A highly commended too for Agnes Gittner & Ella Johnson-Renshaw
Really well done to all the kids involved. You rock!
